Marilyn Buckingham, B.A. (Education), principal associate of SLIPWAY Meetings ~ Conferences ~ Coordination Services, has more than 20 years of experience in meeting, conference, and special event planning.

Marilyn's portfolio includes a diverse collection of events, from small, facility-based functions to large provincial tourism initiatives, such as the John Cabot 500th Anniversary Celebrations. She has coordinated conferences for not-for-profit national and provincial associations and the federal and provincial governments; organized and conducted consultations meetings, professional development seminars and training programs; planned and coordinated trade shows, fun runs, receptions, awards ceremonies, fundraising dinners and auctions, hospitality programs, official luncheons for visiting dignitaries ... even the launch of a new vessel!
